Noise after changing the fuel filter (lanos DOHC 1.6)

Hi Everybody,

I changed my fuel filter last week. The door trim tool mentioned in the "How To..." section did not work for me. I should not have yanked the black plastic sleeve-release with it. It turns out that the release mechanism is a delicate one. I broke the sleeve-release and had to pull the filter until the metal retainer inside the metal hose was destroyed. When I have a chance I will post some pictures showing the plastic sleeve-release and the metal-retainer to show how simple a mechanism they are and they require no yanking or excessive force to disengage.

Anyway, I installed a non-stock filter, but now at high speeds I hear this humming noise every time I step on the gas coming from the engine. Have any of you experienced this?

Is this sound coming from the filter? There's maybe something loose inside this filtre. Check that the fuel direction (arrow) is correct.
