-.- no offense mofo, but imo cut to fit sounds like the dumbest idea... unless, im hoping, you're using di-electric grease...
sure it may be cheap... but just all i can think of is water or w/e getting inside the boots and ka blew ee. jk

(not attacking you, just waiting to read ur reply to see if there is a very great advantage. im not into wires or plugs.. they all work.. they all spark.. they all make my engine revolve.)

well these wires are designed to be cut to fit, ive ben useing tem for years with NO problems. trust me, the boots are a BITCH to get on, they are ver y tight on these wires. te soem wires were 7mm, these are 8mm. so the boot is actually going over a bigger wire.

lucky. buy it off you for $250.01 ya? haha.
um.. it could be filter, injectors, gas itself, EVAP?, leaks?
tires inflated properly?
oil change?
tranny fluid?
intake system?

could be all sorts of things for decreased in MPG. could even be your lead foot? :P

filter is new. injectors are good. I have tried all sorts of gas, evap? fuel leak no. tires are perfect. oil is new as of a week or two ago. its a manual so trammy fluid should be good. intake has not changed since right after i baught the car. i use less gas when I use my lead foot. when I am taking it easy it goes bye bye faster. its the pre cat thats gone. right under the manifold. it has been gone for over a year. my milage went down after i rebuilt the engine. so i dont think its that...
the CEL is for two things. the cat being gone and also engine misfire in cylinder1. i am guessing the misfire is killin the gas.. just cant figure out what it is though. changed plugs and wires already

thats a jetspeed bumper so that means you have the jetspeed rear and sides nice  too bad its not a hatch.... your better off getting a elantra coupe rear bumper and try modding will be a better fit than a hatch oh and that bodykit is from Australia made by jetspeed they stop making that kit a couple years ago the person you bought the kit off must of spent a fortune on that for shipping and the kit was going something like $1000 for it
2.0 engine swap in the works

wtf. :'( *tear* but sheep, gotta get rid of the hood latch in the middle. cramping the style. :P the bumper hella hott.

the misfire, mine was 4th cylinder, and the spark was jumping the boot. so you gotta pull the plug and look all around to see any black lines and or like fatigue, usually like a rust color on the whites. if you see the black lines, its grounding itself. (what mine did)
yet you said everything was new, so it shouldn't, but never know.
also try some Di-electric grease. it basically seals the boots to keep dirt and water out. can usually pick of a small can at any autoparts store, the one i use is red and white can. and since you rebuilt it, everything should be good, like no leaks and such.. hmm..

ive seen slotted sockets made for o2 removal. if memory serves me correctly (which it prolly dont) i had to find a wrench that barely fit the divit on the mani. try getting an old closed end wrench that fits it and grind down the out side of it so the walls are thinner, it will be weaker but it should fit and last one o2 change
