Need more power

There has to be more things I can do to get more power from the 1.6 I put a ram/cold air induction, egr return tube mod, intake temp mod, removed 1st muffler, replace 2nd muffler with straight through design. Anything else I CAN DO TO SQUEEZE OUT SOME MORE POWER! Any help

those are all the cheap mods.

you can do internals next, Engine management, boost...

Someone was talking about a larger throttle body.... I thought there was a post about putting a nubira TB on a lanos.

I'm not really fond of the idea but as long as the diameter isn't too huge the ECU should be able to adjust.

A header would definitly help.... grounding kits are allways good for a few HP.

It's hard to make any serious "all motor" power without access to a reprogramed ECU.

The engine is capable of 150hp but it needs someone to do some serious dyno time with new fuel/ignition maps.

Oh... another thing is adjustable cam gears and sport cams.... these are fairly easy upgrades.

erfinder i was takling about a bigger TB. But why cant it difer to much in size? should the computer not be able to adyust the fuel hard enhough you can pop in 2.0 injectors or up the feul presure no?

but finding a bigger one is the real problem :roll: :cry:

DVE in Australia has Big Bore TBs for like $275 shipped. Talk to Blinkme about them.
