Hello,
my name is Marcel,
I'm from holland and some of you will know the site:

Togheter with a friend of mine are we the owners of that site.
Now lets get back to my ride.
On this moment we have 3 Opel (Vauxhall) Corsa's and 1 Opel (Vauxhall) Astra H, (build in 2005)
The first corsa is the daily ride of my wife.
The Astra is my daily ride.
One corsa is a project car and when its ready its for sale (c20xe / c20let).
Now the last corsa is the corsa for only sprint / drag purposal.
For several years ago we 've build in a c20ne engine with 20seh pistons.
The ecu was chipped. And we used an F20 gearbox. Exaust systems is a complete Group A from Simoms.
After the first 1/8 mile I bought a DBilas 324 degrees camshaft and the ecu has got a modification till 8000 rpm.
On the 1/4 mile the car did an 15.00 all the season.
Now we have build another engine:
There is now put in an orginal c20ne with an Eaton M64 Supercharger.
The gearbox is improved with a Quaife Diff.
There are several movies on YouTube from the testing.
This is the second setup with this sepc's. The first engine survived only 190 miles / 300 km. We had placed c20let pistons.
Before we where going to the drag event, the engine melted one piston, but we haven't never noticed it. At the event we drove an 14.4 (1/4 mile) with three good pistons and one melted piston. And the belt of the supercharger was slipping a little bit, so we had only a boost from 0.6-0.7 bar. Normally we must have a boost from 0.8-0.9 bar. And also the slicks run-ups against the suspension.
I'll hope that after all these problems we now drive an high 13 sec on the 1/4 mile..
For next year we 've bought several c20xe engine...

Class car m8. Really brilliant. Is the supercharger mounted at the back of the engine? I see you've moved, and turned round your alternator, pretty cool setup. Any more info?
Are you using LEt pistons then? Or is it just a standard c20ne now? Also, was it just a standard c20ne with the supercharger that lasted 190 miles?

The engine was a complete stock c20ne
I've tried c20let pistons. These pistons melted after 60 miles.
I lowered the compression on the stock engine and after that i had some other small problems.
The supercharger was build behind the engine.
We've engineerd 2 years at these engine. also blow up 5 engines.
Now I want to build an extreme C20XE (redtop)..
The c20ne with eaton m64 supercharger had 210 HP @ 5600 rpm and 295 nm @ 3500 rpm
1/4 mile with old slicks 13.7 with a 60foot of 1.9
Next year i want to drive a 11 sec..

Some new picture's of my project.
We have almost finished the inside of the car.
Need still to do some work at the dashboard and electronical wiring.
And a little preview from the work at the engine bay.
The engine bay will also be sprayed with the same color as the inside of the car..
Within a month I also have back my engine.
