what kind of GEARBOX have the nexia DOHC???????????

what type of gearbox have the Daewoo Nexia/cielo 16v????? the 1.5L 16v DOHC?????

i know that the 1.5L 8v sohc have a F16 gearbox but what about the DOHC??????, its a F20???????????????????????????????

no, they also have F16. You can find F20 on several models of Opel (Chevrolet) like Calibra, Astra, Kadett and Vectra with C20XE engine.

PS: I saw that you said on your topic that you have an stock F16 gearbox. How is it handling that massive power/torque? It doesn't brake? I saw that you have drag slicks and that you launch from rev limiter at start. And what clutch do you use ?

im using a bonze clutch kit, yes my f16 is stock and is working wondefull with my 300whp

Should be D16 right?

F16 and D16 have different gear shaft (I mean the one which stick into the center of the clutch friction pad hub).

D16 have 3/4 X 24 spline.
F16 I am not sure. Clutch cover can inter use between F16 and D16 but the clutch pad cannot due to the spline.

D16 and F16 differs only by type of clutch actuator. D16 is oil type clutch actuator, and F16 is cable type clutch actuator.

So every engine that can go on F16 can go on D16. So C20XE can go on D16 just as it would on F16 or F20.
