As i said i was going to be doing before the sunbird is getting a daewoo engine. Im kinda doing something like pontiacjeff did. Im not going to be running a external dizzy like he did tho. Im running a DIS system from a 2.2L Cavalier. and running a external trigger wheel for a 3500 V6 Chevrolet. Along with the stock Turbo sunbird ECM ('7749) ...So i pulled the 2.0L OHC engine that was in it.....took me a bit but i found a 2.0L Nubira engine. 50,xxx miles on it. engine looks really clean, I just got it home to my rents this weekend and put in the garage, i have to get another engine stand for it since my dad's 3 other engine builds took up the other stands lol. Hopefully i can get up to my rents place every weekend and get the car running and back together. living 2 hours away from them sucks sometime. ..... anyways here are some pics for you guys.

Its going to be boosted at 10-12 psi with a Intercooler. im hopeing for around 220 hp.

if its a nubira engine its a 2.0 if its a legnza engine its a 2.2 why not just boost the lving crap out of the c20get? its a great engine and it should easly bed able to give you the 220 whp goal you have?

...ROFL....i put 2.2L My bad.........and the Get engine i dont like, there's to many issues / flaws with the engine...... So thats why im doing the swap.

yeh i thought it was decent, they were the only ones around me with the engine. and for the price i couldnt pass it up.

i just looked on ebay for laganza/nubira engine, they want $1500 for it.... GTFO!

yeh, most places want 1000$ + for the engine and then i saw it for 2XX and i was like MINE!

right around the same 750$ + my buddy who did the swap in his bird a few years back ( was on here decephyx) he paid 5xx$ for his that was a steal also.

The U20SED is probably the best bang for the buck. I got one for $650 with ~12k miles and another I got for $600 (actually $1200 w/ the D20 tranny) with 1,200miles
