Re: Sport springs on OEM shocks
Many people have done that including me. I put Apex springs with my stock shocks for almost 2 years. It was ok, but not ideal since the shocks did not provide enough dampening for the stiffer springs. This ended up in a more bouncy ride when you hit bumps, but it was lower and would lean less in corners.MMamdouh wrote:is it OK yo use sport springs on OEM shocks??

up to a 60mm drop you should be fine... beyond that you want to change the dampers so that they dont bottom out. but at a 40mm drop on spax springs with stock dampers i havnt had any trouble... and none of this bouncy-ness that evry talks about, but it is a very stiff ride. and body roll is greatly reduced.
