Headlights in daewoo

I was thinking about painting them, but it seemed that they are filled with some kind of silicone? how do i get it to open? what you guys recommend?

trust me the oven idea works great, it is a more even style of heating the headlights than the electrical heater. i just took the bulbs out and heated it to 200 deg f.

with the heater you will get one side hot while the other side is sitting there cold, and if you have ever put your had any where near one of those things you will know they get pretty damn hot, hot enough to melt plastic. its your car, and your gonna do it how you want, but trust me the oven works great!

that how i did mine, about 10 mins @ 90c
