Strange! And no bend valves? Was you timing belt in perfect state? No missing teeth?
Was the head gasket in the correct position?
Does the camshafts turns in one piece when you turn camshaft gears?
Check for free return for all valves on their seats.
Check for cracks in head between cylinders.
Take and post some close pics of head, gasket, spark plug electrodes,...
You'll find!

re
hi sheep.. well i was going to say the other night our headgasket would have a huge hole to cause no running at all possibly not the head gasket at all clean your head up and pour gas or metho in the ports to see wether your valves are leaking if not thats all good. you didnt have to take your inlet manifold off that would have been hard work that you didnt have to do well you dont have to on nubira. i imagine lanos 1.6 dohc is the same this is a weird situation you are in mab it is just your coil pack or computer or a wiring malfunction anyhow you are getting to know your car better and better.... have your head checked out clean your pistons and inspect your bores and put it all back together...................... does anyone know anything about daewoos on here

Bent valves or problem with your hydraulic lifter(s). Valves must seat and their travel is 0.344" (8.75mm). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydraulic_lifters .
I would go to a shop specialized in head rebuild for advise.
If you remove parts mark them and reposition at the same place.

i personally say replace all the valves, but its prolly not necessary. take the head to a shop and find out how much it will be to rebuild it. look on ebay for a head. www.junkyarddog.com is a online junkyad network that you out a message in of what you need and yards all over the country will let you know if they have it.

well.... that's definitely an interesting video... I guess that explains your lack of compression.
Hmmm.... if the timing belt is in good condition and didn't slip then it would seem that your lifters are somehow stuck.
That's not good news.... I would have to think that would be a situation where the lifters have damaged the smooth bore they slide up and down inside of.
I would remove those two lifters and look for scoring inside the bore.
The engine will still run just fine with damaged lifters..... I've pulled apart a number of engines where the lifters were pretty much stuck solid.... all it really does is make the valvetrain loud.
In your case it seems that either the valves shafts are getting stuck.... or the lifters are getting stuck in their bore.
If it's the valves..... which seem to be exhaust valves.... then there is either some major build up on the valve shaft, the valves are bent or the valve guides are somehow damaged.
I'm trying to remember.... if you look into the exhaust port can you see the shaft of the valve moving into the valve guide?
If so look for any scoring or build up of material on the shaft.
I just don't think it's bent valves if it's just the exhaust.... the intake valves should also be bent
I know I'm rambling here.... but it's an interesting video.... I wonder if perhaps you ran low on oil or if there was a blockage to the passageway that feeds the lifters.....then without oil the lifter would start hitting the walls creating all kinds of scratches and eventually the lifter would "seize" against the wall.... given the cam is very powerfull it would break the metal to metal bonding that happens when the parts seize... but it would most likely mean that the lifters would only move a little bit.... just as far as they have to when the cam pushes them down.
Hmmmm..... another thought.... but unlikely.... broken valve springs..... they would go up but not want to come down.
Any way you cut it you will probably have to disassemble the head further to see what the cause is..... there are too many possibilities to just guess
