That thing is cool, so can it detect problems with the motor before it happens, shows a precurser of what is going to happen, or what you can improve on engine performance or is still kind of limited?

i am glad my parents dont moniter my driving habits, because if they did i am pretty sure i would never be allowed near a car again, i got my leganza to 182km/h in my first monthe of P plates.....

When I was younger, if my father had seen I had gone 182kmh in my car, he would wonder why I had not gone any faster! LOL

After my Leganza had a few miles and the engine had been broken in, I decided to open up and see what it would do.
The speedometer goes to 140mph (225kmh) and I had the needle against the trip odometer reset post past the 140mph mark... and the car was still accellerating.

My Lanos still stops accellerating as soon as it hits 107mph (172kmh) and it has done that since the day I bought it. Even going down hill, it won't go above 110mph (177kmh)!!!

your lanos sounds like it has a speed limiter. I was playing with the volintary limiter in my dads benz and had it set to 150km and it did the same thing

the max i get out of my '97 lanos 1.5 8v is 185km/h

my lanos 1.6 goes over it top speed on meter... dno about real speed but needle speed is over 205km/h
