No offense but have you ever dealt with placing a suit on a city...he'll basicly give all the money he gets up in lawyer fees cause the most he can get is what the receipts say the damage is. City and or State lawyers are good and besides the courts are gonna side with the city or state cause that's who pays them...what I mean is it's alot harder to win a suit against a city than a suit against joe nobody. I may be wrong and he might get some damages if he missed work or had money expenses other than the repairs but other than that the receipts spell out how much he can get.

Cities and Counties get sued all the time. and i think he's got a stronger case. He did a smart thing and immediatly took photos. All he's looking for is to have the damage to his car covered. All i'm saying is if your a big enough thorn in the side, they'll buy you off.

what i'm saying is he has to look at how much the lawyer will charge and how much he will get. I don't know how much the damage was in dollars but if hes only gonna break even after the lawyers fees...it probably isn't worth it to waste his time.

Sorry, if I was short earlier...the bank has had me po'd all day.

Thanks for the comments guys......... I don't know how far I'm going to get with this. They denied my claim (the construction company) saying that their signs were as per the rules and guidelines and they did nothing wrong. I am trying to get a hold of the other victims of this incident to maybe goto small claims court, with no luck so far. Right now it looks like I simply got screwed in the ass for $800.

The lawyer would probably take the 800 in fees anyway.

In small claims court you don't need a lawyer you can represent yourself.

More power finally!

Post by exist3nce »

So its been a long time coming, but finally the 6 spd F28 is starting to serve its purpose!!!!

Went for a retune yesterday and we played around with the boost and meth injection so see how much power we could get with my current fuel setup.

Onto the results ......

We upsized the meth injection nozzle to an M4.

The most we could get while staying within a safe AFR range was 237whp / 224 ft lbs

The following graph shows the 3 boost settings I have for now.

low = 180whp
medium = 195whp
high = 237whp

Image

However.... while trying to find the limit, we kept upping the boost and made 258whp, unfortunately not enough injector to keep it there :(

..... stock head, valvetrain and fuel pump too lol

I would have kept it at that level if there was enough fuel ...... it would have been sooooo much fun.

I was out tonight playing around with it at the 237whp mark...... i know it was giving me more power tonight as boost was hitting about 1 - 1.5 psi higher than on the dyno and also the temperature tonight is -2 *C while on the dyno it was 19 *C.

I ran a 320whp Volvo 850 turbo from a roll 100 - 220, only 1.5 cars behind :lol:
