Engine Coolant

Post by koh »

Hi,

I noticed in the Lanos II user manual, it claimed that the capacity of the coolant is 7 litres. And the mixture would be 50% coolant and 50% water.

So, does that mean I need to purchase 3.5 litres of coolant and mix with 3.5 litres of water ?

Another thing I noticed is on gas station, they sold small bottles of coolant. Are they concentrated or it has already dilute to 50% coolant and 50% water ?

Any advise ?

it will say on the bottle if hte coolant is concentrated of diluted, just have to read it carefully, and yes 50/50 is probably the best to go unless you live in colder weather then that covers

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure. Some people told me to just pour in 500ml of concentrated coolant and add the rest with water. 50/50 mixture is too strong for the engine to take.

It will corrode some part of the engine.
