could some one with a stock lanos please measure how high your car sits. with pics if possable. an easy place to measure from would be the ground to the top of the wheel well. front and back measurments would be great. i need this cause im looking on uk sites to find drop springs for my woo, since the front is nice and low but the rear is like a monster truck, im gonna get some springs from a astra mk2 or some thing, this cars platform is more common over seas than it is here, so there is a better selection of springs over there. i just want to make sure im getting low enough ones for how i want my car to sit. thanks!

Lol no m8, I honestly have been on the lookout, have my wee digital caliper down from the car waiting on her coming back. But she hasnt been here in months, I think the girl next door has moved into the girl's house, who owned the lanos sedan.
I've seen a good few hatchbacks when out, standard ones, but havent had anything to measure them with. Havent seen another standard sedan apart from hers next door.
thats measured from the top of the tyre to the top of the wheel well and then 22.5" of wheel and tyre
hope that helps
that kinda confuses me. what i want is from the ground to the top of the wheel arches, like you had in the first pics. but your tape didnt look like it was straight up and down, it was kinda on an slant. thanks

HAHA it's straight!!!
It's just my great camera skillz yo!
Trust me, I got the measurement with two hands first and then I tried to take the photo
BTW on the wheels are 205/40's. On the wrong angle the wheels look dwarfed by the body but like the pic in my sig, they look just right... maybe its time for me to upgrade the suspension too
WHy did you want it from the floor up? Would from the hub to the arch not be better to get the true drop your springs made? If he has larger wheels his ride height is obviously gonna be higher from the ground up? OR did you just take away the extra 2 inches? thtat 17s have over 15s?
