Just wondering if anyone had any major dramas when doing this?
The install guide in the service manual is only for the steering wheel with airbag.
If anyone has knowledge of this job, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

every time i've took off a steering wheel with an airbag, the batteries been disconnected and we've hacked the shit outta the steering wheel to get at the centre nut, then you undo the nut a bit, but not fully, get a rubber mallet and beat the back of the steering wheel and the nut, and tug on it, try and pull it dead on square with the shaft or else you'll find it extremely hard to get off. Make sure you leave the nut on a bit or else you'll be pulling like a champion and end up getting a steering wheel in the face

HAHA thats some good advice about the bolt!
There is no problem with removing an airbag... mine doesn't have one
I was just wondering about putting the new steering wheel on cos in the how to it talks about over tightening the bolt and all that... are there torque settings??
In the existing how to the part thats got me really confused is:
3.use a key21 (HARD) to remove the dark yelow screw that holds the wheel.
and
8. this is a messy part! Start screwing on the dark yellow screw to hold the wheel! BUT dont screw it to tight because if u do then you will not be able to move the wheel! the OMP factory made a mistake when making the head unit
8.1. THE TRICK IS THAT YOU SCREW IT UNTIL YOU CAN MOVE THE TIRES WITH THE WEEL LEFT/RIGHT! COUSE WHEN U PUT THE WHEEL ON AND U TURN THE DARK YELLOW JUST A FEW TIMES TO HOLD THE WHEEL FROM FALLING! THEN U TURN THE WHEEL BUT THE TIRES WILL NOT MOVE, SCREW IT MORE IN THE WILL WILL FIT IN PLACE"
If someone can translate that
Maybe I could be the person that re-writes the how to
