alright I didn't spend the time to read the catty chit chat yet I'll go back in a little while, sorry if this has been said...
...to get back on subject, the only cars that would have come with the 2.2 in the US is the Leganza, 98' Isuzu Rodeo and Amigo. like I said, even though the 2.0 Nubira, Optra, Forenza Reno... would bolt right in and give you little if any trouble installing, don't give up the torque from the 2.2. becides swapping to a smaller motor will noticably slow the car down and could proove difficult to resell.
New to the forum and need help!

try posting a request for shipping on uship.com, like junkyard dog it's a community of shipping companies at all levels. you can place a free listing for companies to bid on, and the only charge is a small percent of what you pay the company that wins. a lot of companies use the site to an existing freight on a route they are already taking so a little add on like a motor can be pretty cheap.
as for parting out, you will get a pretty good amount out of it that way but you'll have to consider it a second job sometime. posting here and at ebay will be your best bet but expect to sit on the car for a while before you sold everything, made the money you are hoping for or just get tired of dealing with it.
this issue with the 2.2 in the rodeo, you may have to search 97 and 99 as well just because not everyones information is always correct. The rodeo motor may be just as hard to find because it only came in one and a half years, after that they wnt to a Honda motor. you can double check the years at an Isuzu dealer but I'm pretty possitive that it was 98-99.
there is a yard here with a rodeo motor, not a bad price either, where are you located maybe I can get a shipping price quoted for you.
