was hoping you could all help me...
my Leggy has just completed 82000 miles...i have been hearing some rubbing in the front wheel for some time now...took it to a shop where the mech. told me what was wrong...the struts are done, and the wheel bearing is bad....the parts the mech are charging me are 400...the labor is 300....does this sounds like a good deal? he told me that if i can find the parts cheaper...he would accept them and just do the labor...so my question is...can i find bilstein or monroe struts for a good deal? i went to autozone and all they had were gabriel struts... also...what are the diff between shocks and struts?? is there anything else you recommend i change at this mileage?? thank you all for your help!!
