Thanks, I actually had the tail lights all blacked out, but the cops in my town here nabbed
me with a 48 hour warning to remove it. So I met them half way.

Just a small piece of advise, if you do plan on shading your tail lights....dot 3 brake fluid is your best friend.

Removes the paint and won't haze, or mess up the plastic. ;) [/quote]

Hey, nice car.

How did you do the lights? They look good.

Lights were very easy to do. I actually had them entirely black, but the police here nabbed me with 2 days of doing it and gave me a 48 hour warning to get it off. So I met them half way. I removed the paint, and masked the parts I wanted to leave.

Just use a good paint that adheres to plastic, I used Fusion paint high gloss, you can get at any hardware store.
Make sure it goes on nice and even and let dry thouroughly between coats. I would place them back on the car and turn on the lights to make sure I missed no spots and was fully covered. I think it took me 3 or 4 coats to get what I wanted.

I was going to get real fancy and mask the daewoo enblem on them, maybe next summer.
The daewoo is now put away for the winter....drivin my winter beater (1990 honda accord EXR)
