This boost is safe for stock engines with comp.ratio over 10,5:1 and "normal" fuel 91/95octans. With X20SED you get 9,2:1 comp.ratio + 100octans + big intercooler and it safe setup for pistons with boost over 10psimocpac wrote:10psi was suposed to be the top for a stock engine. hmmm you must have an excellnet set up

Should be OK, if C20SED has knock sensor but I recommend to have EGT gauge. EGT shouldn't never exceded 900 deg.C on stock pistons. When EGT is too high you must give more fuel. What model of turbocharger do you have??
PS. I forgot that I've installed also oilcooler. It is very important in any turbo car.
-) the engine got a knock sensor indeed.
-) don't have EGT, will try to get one as we only got Boost, oil pressure and air fuel ratio gauges only.
-) the turbo is a T3 model.
-) don't have oil cooler either, will be added to "parts to get" list.
