I read some topics on this forum about some daewoo cars with turbo. I didn't saw any pictures or movies with that car. I'm very curios to see that. I like very much daewoo and I want people who have that pictures/movies with that cars to post here. PLS HELP ME! I LOVE MY CAR AND DAEWOO and I need that pics/movies. I'm serious.
I' very angry that the members of this forum aren't post-ing movies with their cars. I want to see daewoo cars with turbo. When I believed that you are also road maniacs, like me, not only people that are like to modify their cars.

NubiraPower wrote:AcingTeam, I saw it! It sounds great. I want to see movies with daewoo cars "playing" if you understand what I mean.
Well, I'm going to take 2 more vids today... one with a slow (normal) start on a longer straight-away.
The second one with a hard launch at 4k rpm, shifting at 6,200 rpm, and pushing hard in 2nd gear.
So the second one would be kind of considered as "playing"
Ok, movies have been recorded... just need to edit them and host them on my site and link them here...
Did 3 vids:
1. Slow cornering and medium acceleration in 2nd
2. 4k launch, maxing out 1st and 2nd gears
3. Easy launch, maxing out 1st, and easy on 2nd

DONE, check out my new post in "Pictures and Video Gallery"
In my view, the reason why you don;t see too many turbo Daewoos IRL or in video is because the cars had too short a life in the US. To make a perfect comparison, look at how many years the Civic was in the US and homw many were sold to mommies who eventually gave them to their teenage sons who in turn tried to make them faster. Daewoo lacked Honda's repuation and longevity so most people are turned off to the idea of tuning a Daewoo when other makes are so plentiful, well regarded, and easy to get parts for.
