the new one is a little different looking, but still cute and boxy. it's apparantly to compete with the ultra-popular scions (who's demographic was intended to be the 16-30 range and ended up being the 35-60 range :lmao: )

wow... i've been doing lots of looking around today cause this has sparked my interest... and it seems that chrysler is poking it's nose in the daewoo market. they are talking with gm on rebadging the aveo and possibly other models as subcompacts to boost their lack of economy cars. it would be like the chrysler laser and the mitibishi eclipse thing.

Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda told journalists at a dealer meeting here that the company is interested in a smaller vehicle that would battle vehicles built in Korea.

I personally would never buy it, the interior is awesome looking, but its too small, even smaller than my aveo..plus only 64hp at 5,800rpm is what I read. ew.

800 cc engine and around 80 mpg ... That would be at the top of my list of first pick cars!!

Fuel efficiency is a big deal to me ... a lot more important than going fast or 0 - 100 times.

does it really? Diesel I heard is much better for the environment, yet I see them spew black gas everytime they accelerate, but I guess its the exhaust you cant see that is worse for the environment.

Not unless you get the EuroIV diesels. BTW, if you check the Engine of the Year awards, the new GM-FIAT collaborated 1.3L diesel won the category of small diesel. Its fuel economy is sh1ts all over the hybrids and it has power to boot.
