I'm BACK!

Post by BosnianLanos »

Hey guys, after a long (far too long) hiatus, I've come back to Daewootech. School had been evil to me last year, and I stopped most of my car stuff because it was taking up too much time and detracting me from my studies. Well, I recently got accepted into the UF Honors Program for engineering and it was time to come back online. With the summer fast approaching, and responsibilities coming to a close. I've decided to come back to cars and Daewootech. I've missed you guys.

Don't worry either, both my my Lanoses are fully intact and I still own them.

My green 1999 SX has 204,500 miles and recently blew the headgasket and ran like SHITE. I thought it was finally time to throw in the towel and part it out, but it literally hurt far too bad to sell it or part it out, so I'm trailering it back to Clearwater from Gainesville this weekend, ripping out the head, porting and polishing everything, cleaning everthing up nice, fixing the AC and Heat (just picked up the parts yesterday) and having a great car again as Pinellas county traffic SUCKS with a manual. I can't wait to get started on it. I'll provide pics of the progress and will undoubtedly ask for help.

My red 2001 Sport is in fantastic shape. New tires (Falken Ziex) and brakes (EBC Pads, Slotted rotors) on the outside, Leganza throttle body, Leganza fuel injectors, and ported and polished EVERYTHING have made it into a very quick little car and I'm enjoying it through and through, I'm gonna be shopping around for a nice exhaust and a custom set of headers soon, so i'll keep in touch with everyone for help.

Again, I'd like to say I'm happy to be back, and I'll be asking and answering questions to the best of my ability.

Damir.

We missed you too! I recently just came back as well. I didn't know you got another Daewoo. A hatchback like mine? Happy to see you back!
