im going again to the track...
Lets see if i finally can get some decent 60ft times to get into the 14s :P
today i changed the top mounts also i got a strut bar, belive it or not... the guy in the korean autoparts got it from a Racer in Korea... its says tanabe, im guessing is just an sticker.
this guys are loving my car... he's leaving to Korea by the end of october and i told him to bring all the "racing" parts (suspension specially) that he sees on any daewoo over there. He gave me the thumbs up.
Im also waiting for the guy that imported my engine to come back from Italy... he told me that he's going to bring a couple of C20LETs but i dont belive it until i saw them here.
Efrain.

Hi,
Did only 4 runs...
15.6, 15.5, missed 3rd gear... and a 15.4.
the 60ft were the same 2.3 and 2.4
After that i parked the car
I won a matchup (3-2) i had with some a civic vtec from another city, they were looking for me 'cos i beated them 3 times before. I missed 3rd gear in our second run.

In roadracing i put it into 5th instead of third.. but in 2hrs on track time i usually only do it twice

the secret for not missing third gear is not to apply any lateral force on the shift stick while shifting from second.
the stick positions itself into the center location after it disengages from second and with your hand pushing the stick forward (and only forward) the stick will engage into third gear with no problems whatsoever.
you can do the same thing while downshifting from fifth to forth gear.

lol,
i did miss because i wanted to shift quicker than ever... i had a low grip from the start and the car i was racing was little ahead of me so i wanted to lose the less revs as possible when shifting to 3rd so i could pass him. But went a bit too quick and my hand was faster than my left foot.
Some people were surprised that i missed a gear in my car :lmao: is not common.
