What does your Login Name mean??

Post by tango »

I was sitting down idly by the other day and it dawned on me. I wondered what some of these ID names actually mean. So here is the question. Calling all members to post and tell us what your name means.

I'll set the ball rolling.

My login is Tango...that's the phonetic name for the letter T. That's the first letter of my last name, which happens to be Tait.
Cogito ergo sum...

In retrospect I could have been more original :? .

The Great And Powerful Oz is after the charracter in the movie The Wizard of Oz. He represented the most respected and powerful thing in The Emerald City.

Even though he was found out to be fake, and just a regular person, not some powerful being, he was still willing to help them get home and find what they were looking for.

AcingTeam... once I was putting a decal (long time ago when I had a Ford) "RACING TEAM"... I did a crappy job and messed up the letter "R" so bad that I had to remove it, I was left with "ACING TEAM". On a side note, I play tennis and love to ACE people (my serve's pretty quick)... So, AcingTeam worked out perfectly!

woo.... quite simply that is what my car is called. Put into a sentance "what car you got today? The woo"
oddley enought i cant kill the thing, i got rear ended a few weeks back, the guy behind broke both headlights, lost his bumper and bent his bonnet up, and i cant even find so much as a scratch on my car. The woo has quite a reputation among my friends and it was considered a god back when i was at at school because no car has gone faster, or taken such a flogging without any breakage. Putting it simply, i could roll the woo into a lake, and knowing my luck, it would float.

Well... Erfinder means Inventor in German.
(my wife is German....and it sounded interesting)

I have thousands of pages of ideas/designs.... inventing stuff is my favorite thing to do.... but I rarely have the time to make anything happen.

This is also why I rarely finish projects.... I allways get excited and start working on a project and end up leaving it half way done for another project.

Needless to say I have a pile of half done crap laying around my house and shop.

One of these days I'm going to hire someone to get some of the more important projects finished..... I hope to start producing stuff in a couple of years (with lots of luck)

I've had other names as well.... at one time I went by "lanosmfg" because I was building parts for my Lanos... but then I sold it and got an Optra so I didn't think it fit anymore.

Precision Boost is my new "hobby" company that I will use to develop products ( not just automotive )

I was also known as "niteman" (not on this board) at one point because I stayed up until 4am most nights posting on various sites...... but I have a wife and daughter (3yrs old) now so I don't stay up very often anymore.... I can't exactly sleep when my daughter loves to come in our room and jump on the bed early in the morning.
