If you have a laptop you can grab an ODB to Serial Converter... OR! you can pick up a palm pilot with a converter.

so this means that an OBD socket is a standard socket that i can by a converter for it... right?

the reason i am asking too much is that such devices are not that common here and i want to make sure that such converters does exist in electric\electronic supplies shops... maybe i will try radioshak or so to try to find it.

any feedback on the software? any body got better diagnostics software??

Well the ones for ford and dodge usually download the stock info and rework some of the mappings... but in all honesty i'm abou 99.999999998% sure that all ODB-II readers have the same hook up.. or else it would be pointless to use that as a mechanic....

So it should connect to the serial port and be useable that way.
