well as in all the junk i hope you mean
spare tire
interior panels
back seat
passenger seat
car jack
and any system or extra speaker of course.
and clean it very good like the engine and wheel wells to make sure no excess dirt is weighing you down.

oh and if its not raining or any chance of that try to get like a dryer hose and take out your headlight and direct it so you have a ram air effect goin on.

oh and trying to get the car in like a yugo category would help too.
sorry bad joke.

do you have to have dual throttle springs as a rule? or is that just some racing events in australia. Even so it isnt a bad idea, as a stuck throttle isnt too much fun.

You have to have all the seats otherwise you go into the "modified" class which is mostly cars with ALOT of parts and/or custom turbo kits.

Im already in the Novice class.

They check the throttle also... if its too meshy you cant race

well that sux with the seats. well take out all the panels like the ones in the trunk and the ones beside the back seat they're not that hard to remove. and just whatever you can think of that might make a difference.

tell us how it turns out man.

As a rule... get the car as light as you can with respect to the rules and regulations of your category, that includes all the shit in the trunk and fuel too, race with as low fuel as you can have in the tank - don't get it dry though - but keep a functional fire extinguisher with you.

Inflate tires a bit over what the car manufacturer specified but don't exceed the tires' manufacturer specification, that will make the ride a bit stiffer for a stock car

Make sure you are sitting comfortably in the car and have a good grip of the steering wheel... if you have sports pedals in your ride, make sure your shoe laces doesn't catch the screws of the pedals or else your feet will be held behind one pedal and you will lose control (a personal experience I had before)

I think you are ready now... GO KICK SOME ASS :D

I have no idea how much fuel to have.. and i cant have to little b/c once your there you catn leave. Its from 7am-5pm.... Im just going to go with what i have cuz i have about a 3/4 tank now, then its a long drive there.

On the site they recommend (for FWD) 45psi in the from and 35psi in the back? My tires say 44psi.

Umm, im not very good with fire extinguisher.. last time one was in my car it exploded and it cost me $120 to clean it out and i still need to get in the doors and stuff.

thanks,
Dan

as for fuel: keep it safe this time but make notes of how much fuel you used during this race to know how much to have next time.

tire pressure: keep up with the tire manufacturer recomindations or the site recommindations whichever is LOWER if you exceed the manufacturer limit the tire might explode... especially under racing conditions and all.

i still see that a fire extinguisher is a must... OK the presence of the last one costed you $120 in cleanup but the lack of a new one might cost you your car and we don't need that.

Keep it safe man and good luck.

Well last night i had to leave my gfs party early b/c i had to get up at 5 to be at the track by 6:30.. didnt get there till after 7. Turns out that having the waiver signed by both parents wasnt enough.

So i had to change my run time (surprised they let me). Be back there in 4 hours (ive spent two hours driving already). Then i have to bring BOTH of my parents, they need to sign papers and be present for awhile.. both parents. This is such bullshit... my parents have a life to.. Okay i can understand one parent but both? there married. Stupid.
