fire exstingisher went off in my car!

Post by kinkyllama »

Did my best in spelling. Anyone some punk ass decided to take the pin out and when i turned a corner it went off. Threw the parking break on and me and a buddy jumped out of the car while it was moving. Tonight we spent about an hour cleaning it and its still not even close to done. Anyone have any ideas on what i can use to clean it? its like a powdery substance. Pain in the ass. I cant ebelive this happend.

Call your local fire department. DON'T DIAL 911!! (LOL) They deal with fires all the time and would probably know how to clean it up, or who to talk to about getting information on post-extinguisher clean up.

If they don't have any ideas, maybe a vaccum cleraner, a brush and an air compressor hose?

Wow ... that sounds like it would have been GREAT to have video taped!! LOL
Sorry it happened, but it sounds kinda funny from an outside view.

POST PICS!!!! :)
That will teach you to try to be safe!! :P LOL

The only pictures i took didnt come out worth a crap. But its EVERYWHERE in my car... if you rub your finger threw it it makes like a canal, thats how deep it is. In the corners of the car its about an inch deep along with the inside of the glove box. The carpet of the floor where it went off and some on the roof looks like it may never wash out. The carpets the easy part though. Just need like a steamer. But the dash is going to be hard. Ive spent two hours on it now. The first hour there were two of us working at it. It was sooo funny when it happened but damn not anymore. I was planning on using this x-mas break to put more things into my car but i think ill spend it washing my car.
