Suzuki Reno

Post by bluesheepbrian »

Saw in the Consumers Reveiw Car Buyers Guide the Suzuki Reno.
Four door version of the lanos? Was wondering parts would fit to the Lanos? The body looks different, so know no bodykit is going to fit, but any aftermarket parts would be for use for us?

P.S. It had a good review but said one of the disadvantages was..

The Reno,Forenza, Optra, Optra 5 are based on the DAEWOO LACETTI & NUBIRA III ...... they have no relation to the Lanos or Aveo.

They have the same 2.0L engine as the older Daewoo Nubira but they are slightly smaller and have a slightly different chassis.

The Aveo is based upon the Daewoo Kalos

The Lanos is dead.... nothing new is based upon it.

The RENO/Optra 5 are half way between a Lanos and a Nubira size wise.... I would say my car is atleast 12" to 16" longer and quite a bit wider.

As a result it's also heavy like the USA/Canada Daewoo Nubira. :(

The Aveo has many similarities but it's not the same chassis.
