Ok ... today I found that the main water line from the street that is between the water meter and the house broke and was flooding the front yard.

I got a couple of shovels and a bucket and started scooping the all the mud slush away and dug down to the water pipe.

Well .. it is 3/4" black plastic pipe and it had a crack in it.

How did Daewoo save the day you may ask? LOL
I removed the tarp from my Lanos parts car, removed 2 hose clamps and about 3" if rubber hose.
As a temporary fix to keep water from shooting out across the yard like a fountain, I wrapped the radiator hose around the pipe and clamped it in place.

Presto! Temporary fix until I can get a proper water line splice kit. :)
