Aveo getting faster
Well right now my Chevy Aveo has both mufflers cut off with a tube muff in the back. I made a custom CAI with ram from front. and I did a air intake mod with 20k ohms. man she flys. I also found some performance 8mm wires . She is quick on the highway. at 80mph in 4th and punching it she will jump up to 115 quick. (what is the shut off speed? havn't gotten that fast yet) what other mods can I do besides removing the cat and using a O2 simulator. Has anyone found anything on the ignition upgrade?

Brian... Thats awesome... Only thing is 1... we can barely find aftermarket parts and 2, your aveo is what 1-1.5 years old..... theres cars that wait 3-4 years before even a reputable aftermarket section is made for them.
However... i don't know exactly what all changes that GM made... you might be able to drop the 4-2-1 Headers from SharkRacing in.

I haven't found a speed governer yet. I had my lanos up to 125mph a couple times. I can't wait to see what my new mods will do.Brian5475E wrote: at 80mph in 4th and punching it she will jump up to 115 quick. (what is the shut off speed? havn't gotten that fast yet)

This leads me to believe that it is adjustable. Because just after taking my car in the second time for the cam sensor, I wasn't able to go above 120.TheGreatAndPowerfulOz wrote:My Lanos (automatic unfortunately) seems to stop accellerating at 107mph. I once got to 110, but that was down a long hill.
