how about a new addition to the forum?
I've been thinking for a why that it would be cool to add a small chat window to the forum. the community could talk instently and would help eliminate the delay from PM's.
you can check out what I'm talking about at www.isuzone.org
...what do you guys think? would it be a good addition or do you think it would take something awya from the topics and PM's?

+1000. It would keep some clutter off forum topics as well.

do you think more people would be active if they where able to communicate easier and not have to start unnessisary threads?daewoomofo wrote:i perosnally dont think so, there are ALOT of times when im the only one on here, in sure there are others that have the same thing happen to them.Pir0 wrote:is the forum active enough to benefit from it?
...instead of a newby posting a thread "how do i change my timing belt" do you think they would just ask in the chat box to be pointed in the right direction?

ive seen these chatboxes on other forums (eg: KentUniCarz.co.uk) and to be honest... MSN (or any other IM program, for that matter) is much better for just a chat.
forums/messageboards have a purpose, which is discussion and the documentation of any discussion which takes place so that people can use it for research/info even if it is useless chat, cos sometimes our useless chat spawn new ideas etc.
... just a thought, do what u like.

Cargo cultism is a beautiful thing as long as you never fall for it.
