as fot he cop riding with no lights on... next time you suspect that a cop is following you in the dark just slam the brakes as hard as you can... that will make him think twice before doing it again.

lol for lifeErfinder@PrecisionBoost wrote:Well.... sorry to hear about the ticket....
So the silver lining is that you can turn your car into an non-street legal race vehicle and take it out on autocross tracks and rally racing!!!!
I've been caught doing 160km/h (100mph) in an 80km/h (50mph) zone but the cops only wrote me up for 40km/h over the limit so that they didn't have to go to court.
( I'm very glad they were lazy cops )
My worst one would have been 215km/h in a 30km/h zone..... anything over 40Km/h lands you in criminal court..... I probably would have spent some time in jail for doing 185km/h over the limit had I been caught ( roughly 115MPH over the speed limit )
I knew a guy that got caught doing 80km/h over the limit and they took away his license for 3 years and sentanced him to two years probation.
There was another guy that I know of that got caught doing 110km/h over the limit in his corvette... they sentanced him to 6 months in jail and took away his license for life.
If they were going to charge you criminally you would have been picked up in a police car and booked at the local police station.... your car would have been towed to the nearest impound lot.
So..... given you just got a ticket and nothing else.... your pretty lucky.

Im so glad i didnt have to through that again... last time i got caught speeding the cops lyied about where they followed behind me to see how fast i was goin (if they told the truth it wouldnt ahve been criminal cuz i had just gotten in a higher speed limit when i gunned it), illegally searched the car, used my cell phone w/o my permission, made fun of my hair and the clothing i wore.... then took me to jail. It sucked.
Anyways does anyone know if the court can change it from a civil offense to a criminal? or does anyone know about civil traffic court? I'm guessing they cant take your license away or anything like that.
Last night i was goin down the freeway (doing the speed limit) and i started to switch lanes and out of NOWHERE a cop flys by me honking at about 125mph.. that pissed me off.. he didnt have his flashing lights on, just his driving lights.. and he was traveling so fast that by the time i looked in my blind spot and mirror then started switching lanes he had already came over a hill and started to pass me.

possibly cops dont pull over street race cars... because those cars r moded and the people who drive those cars like to drive fast to test out there hard earned modifications... some of the cops do that stuff off of work...vjx987 wrote:woah thats crazy.
yeh there is a fair bit of tolerance in australia with our cops and speeding. like not everyone gets off, but if your not driving a hotted up car, and your youngish, alot of the time they just give you a warning and walk really slow and stuff to scare you. ive got 3 friends all who were let off with warnings, but they were going no more than 20 over the limit.

Once a cop passed me like that... I was going on the highway about 80mph (in a 65mph zone), the cop flew by me with no lights on going at least 100mph.... I've decided to catch up and just follow him, but by the time I made my mind he was already gone. Also, it's a waste of gas.

but thats evilErfinder@PrecisionBoost wrote:Look at the name on the ticket..... track down the cop....and have someone take all the air out of the tires on all his vehicles shortly before he has to come to court.
If the cop doesn't show up...... they throw out the case.
Or..... put superglue in all his house locks the night before.... so when he comes home he won't be able to get into his house.
Or.... buy a badger and let it loose in his house.
Or.... throw concusion grenades through his bedroom window at 3am prior to the court date.
Or.... place little tiny ball bearings all over his walkways and driveway
Or.... you could frame him for murder
Or.... get a 5 gallon bucket of roof tar.... warm it up and smear it everywhere..... house doors, car doors/locks, motorcycle key locks, garage doors.
When the tar sets he won't be able to open his doors or start his vehicles.
Or.... pay a hooker to jump him.... video him and blackmail him with the tape
Or.... you could pay a Hell's Angel to beat him up the day before the court date.
Or..... you could burn down his house
Or.... you could kidnap his favorite pet and hold it for ransom
Or..... you could set up an electric fence around his house using very thin piano wire.... so he doesn't see it when he comes out the door....and zap he's down for the count
Or.... you could attach an explosive collar around his neck and make him do whatever you want
Or... you could break into his house and slip some sleeping pills into his coffee maker the night before.
Or...........well......... I think I've given enough ideas...... I'm sure you will come up with something.

how did u do 130 in ur leganza?TheGreatAndPowerfulOz wrote:I was doing 130 in a 55 zone across a bridge in my Leganza when I was pulled by an Alcohol Beverage Control agent (not a regular cop) in an unmarked Pontiac Grand Prix. LOL
He filled the ticket out wrong and didn't put me speed on the ticket.
I hired a lawyer who was old friends with my father, who was also old friends with the judge and the cop.
The judge gave me 30 mph over the limit and a $150 fine. The ticket put 6 points on my license, but I went to traffic school and that took 5 points off.
I *could* have gotten jail time, up to a $2500 fine and lost my license. I was very lucky.
