Didn't you guys hit Pakistan sometime in the war on Afganistan??

I thought I remember seeing something about that....could be wrong.

I agree with Maximus somewhat..... when I visit the USA I constantly meet people that don't know where Canada is or think it's part of the USA.

I've also been asked about how I can stand living in Igloo's and stuff like that.....when I explain that I would have to drive about 20 hours North to find someone living in an Igloo they get all confused.

Hey Maximus.... I was looking as some geographic information and found out that we could fit Poland into Canada about 32 times.

*grin* You mean you DONT live in igloos?!?!? *confused*

LOL

Don't all Canadians eat whale blubber, live in igloos and use sled dogs to get from one village to another???

hahaha

Actually, I'd really like to move to Nova Scotia and will probably be going on summer holiday there again next year. I think I'll look for land to buy so I can build a house on it later.

I like PEI, but its a little too far away from everything, so I may look for some land south west of Halifax.

Canada is the second largest country in the world geographicly. (Russia is first)

We have 9,984,670 square kilometers of land.
Poland has 312,766 square kilometers of land.

Get this.... If you were to drive from Prince Rupert, British Columbia on the west coast of Canada to St John's, Newfoundland on the east coast of Canada you would have traveled 6376.8 km and your travel time would be 87 hours 31 minutes if you drove the speed limit.

This info was from MSN's maps and directions site.

Can you imagine driving for three and a half days without even a bathroom break??

If you left the west coast and drove about twelve and a half hours per day for an entire week you would end up arriving in St John's on the very last day of your week long trip.

I never realized Canada was larger than Australia.

Australia is 7,682,300 square kilometers.

That makes Canada 2,302,370 square kilometers bigger than Australia.

The smallest country is Vatican City, which is 0.5179976 square kilometers (517,997.6 square meters), or .2 square miles.

I wonder what the speed limit is in a country that small? :D

LOL

I never thought this thread would turn into what it has.

Anyway ... anyone know of any good web sites with jokes suitable for emailing to friends and that are clean enough to send to work?
