Get the "high mileage" one, no questions asked. My 2003 Civic has 120,000 miles on it and I'm truly not lying when I say that NOTHING has gone wrong with this car. Engine is flawless, transmission is flawless, paint is shiny, and everything is showroom quality. At that point in my Daewoo ownership for the green Lanos, I was already thinking about junking it.
Reason for the newer one is simple aesthetics. I have extensive experience with both '01 and '03 Civics and the only differences are the taillights, the chrome trim in the interior, the cluster, the shifter, and you get an armrest and a CD player. Its worth it.
You guys are gonna be pissed!!
