Welcome to the forum m8, btw, heard they're introducing sound limits for cars in australia? And putting up machines that can judge if the cars are too loud or not ,like speed cameras, only for sound, and they take a 10 second clip of your car if it's over a certain amount od dB?
Sounds like such a flawed and bad idea.

Sounds like it would be very hard to enforce.
You get the ticket and you say "how can you prove that was me? there was a car driving next to me that was playing loud music"
That dB was after i had a tuned box made and hadn't fine tuned head unit and amp properly. I had to remove the rear window wiper as it used to bounce about 10mm off the window. Never got around to entering a comp or getting it tested again. Wasn't loud enough for me thoughbenzino wrote:Damn that's loud !!!Carr wrote:15" sub @ 142.7dB with the door open

I think the dB radars would be more so aimed at exhaust volumes but I don't see how they would be able to measure it accurately enough to be able to issue fines. If they get installed, people will do what they do with speed cameras, just clutch in as you pass.
