Yeh, but with the not so powerfull 1.5 sohc, it can be very different with a 2.0L 16v

Most of our members are from the US, so they dont get the Vectra.

Check engine mount points and take measurements to see if it could be swapped.

The 2.2L Leganza engine can be installed, but you lose your power steering pump.

There is no V6 for the Leganza.

It came with the 2.2L I4 in the US.
It also came with a 2.0L I4 in some countries ... and it *may* have come with the 1.8L I4, but I am not sure.

There is no V6 Daewoo engine available for the Leganza, Nubira or Lanos.

The only 6 cyl was the 2.5L I6 that is in the Magnus / Suzuki Verona.

Ok ... maybe neither of is being very clear and we're not understanding each other ... LOL

I said you should check motor mounts & take measurements to see if the Vectra V6 could be fitted.

When you said V6 Leganza, it wasn't clear you meant the V6 from the Vectra.

The problem is there are no Vectras in the US, so getting the engine here would not be easy.

its good we understand each other now.....a V6 leganza would be cool, but for what it would cost, id be better off getting a vectra, and i dont like them anyway and only have the woo cause it was free.

I will race if somebody is asking for it, however, I will rarely if ever instigate a race, and will never race for money. Like daewooluvr said, if you blow past me at a light or try to get me to race but revving your engine next to me, prepare to die... even though I will probabally lose  :D .

WTF!!!!!

Well.... If it weren't for the fact your on the other side of the earth I would love to come down there and kick your ass :P (that is to say I'd love to race you once my turbo kit is installed)

Not racing cars???

If I make 325hp like the guys with the 2.0L C20LET (Calibra Turbo ) in my little Optra I'd leave you in a cloud of dust.

The 3.0L V6 from the Omega would be an easier swap..... it can be found here as the Cadillac Catera.

I don't see any reason for upgrading from a 4 cylinder...... anything more than 300hp would be crazy.... these cars don't weigh very much (unlike your Commodore :P aren't they somewhere in the range of 1550kg (3400lbs)???? )

Hell I'm sure you could get a Lanos down around 2000lbs...... that would mean you would need to be pushing about 550hp to keep up with a Lanos sporting a C20LET :D

You could probably get the optra down to 2000 pounds... just clean out all sound deadening stuff and the windows with plexi and take out AC that should be like 400pounds alone
