I'm not sure I like that idea. I can predict a lot of drunken idiots "forgetting" to put their seatbelt on, then wrecking and flying out of the roof. Granted it's not different with a convertible, but if I'm gonna die, I'd rather not go through a pane of glass. I can also see leather seats suffering untimely deaths, 3rd degree burns from seatbelt buckles and shiftknobs, and over-used AC systems.

But there are already companies that produce these, most likely at a cheaper cost
