This is why i was not arround this week!

Post by MMamdouh »

Some may have noticed I was not around the past week and this is why:

I had an accident last Friday and I hit a pedestrian and killed him with my Woo... I have a lawsuit coming up soon and the Woo is injured and a really bad memory to erase so I won't be around for a while.

he was crossing a relativly high speed road and their was this SUV blocking my line of sight so i didn't see the guy till he was in my lane... slammed the brakes but their was too little distance to stop the car so i hit him anyways... he died instantly

the guy thought it was a good idea to cross the road through the on going traffic rather than using the tunnel... unfortunatly he though wrong

since he wasnt crossing in the dedicated area you shouldnt be held at fault. its unfortunate this happened, but (in my opinion) it wasnt your fualt

I agree and although it is a hard thing to go through if it wasnt you the guy behind you would have hit him just the same please dont blame yourself for his lack of judgement

Man, thats really horrible. I feel for you and for the family of the victim. I know what it feels like, 2 years ago I was driving my green 'Woo when a woman dashed across the highway in front of me, I managed to just brake and avoid her, but rather than her stopping, she continued across another lane of traffic and was hit by a Thunderbird going 60 not 5 feet from my window. It is a horrifying experience.

But in all honesty, I think it would be in M's best interest to delete this thread. Especially if there is a lawsuit in question. There has been too much discussion of guilt and fault, and it could hurt his chances in court if used by the opposing attorney. Just a thought.

But you're definitely in my thoughts man.
