neighboe problems......again
well i have had it with my neighbor now today my neighbor from across the street said that my neighbor is going to call cps to take my kid away from me. just because he cries at night. hes now 6 months he had caulic about 3 months ago every time he cried she banged on the wall. now the dr. said that we need to try to get him to sleep in his own room and decrease his night feedings(hes a breast fead baby). so because of our neighbor we had to get a dr.'s note explaining what were working on. so we brought the note to our property manager and told her what she has been doing. she got a hold of the owner and he wants her out. about a couple weeks ago that happened. now after todays incident she has 30 days to move out i dont thing shes going to move out willingly. so we found another place its the same amount of rent bigger place no neighbors to share housing with and a big yard. and i can also pull mu cars into the back yard to work on. im not worried about cps we have food and milk and the place is clean.

As someone who's had two kids (one is currently 13 weeks old ) I just have to tell you that kids crying their brains out is normal.
Everyone freaks out if their kids cry and think it's caulic.... but that's not allways the case.
If the kid's being breast fed it's possible that it make his stomach is upset due to digestion issues.
Formula can do the same thing.
The best thing to do is to switch things up.... try different brands of formula including Soy formula.
Quite often you will see a drastic change in their behavior over a night or two... and they will stop crying.
As well... gripe water can help (non-alchoholic type).... just fill a nipple half full when he's hungry and give it to him before feeding.
Some doctors will give you this info right off the start, while others seem to be quite useless in helping solve problems.
Also... when changing surroundings do it slowly..... change just one small thing at a time if you can.
A good example is our daughter...... it was hot here in the summer so there was a couple weeks where my wife and the girls slept downstairs.
Rebeca (our 13 wk old ) got use to sleeping in a smaller bassinet instead of her crib.
When things cooled down my wife simply put here into the crib and she wouldn't sleep and cried for the entire night.
So the next night we brought her bassinet from down stairs and put it into the crib and she slept the whole night without making a peep.
After a few days we took all here bedding from the bassinet and put it into the crib... and again she fussed a bit the first night but slept find the next.
Slowly we changed things over and eventually she got use to being in the crib with her normal crib bedding.
Anyways.... good luck.... hope this helps a bit.

Don't worry about the cps crap...Let her call. I know for a fact that the DHS (dept. of human services) who handles things like that in Tn would take her call and say it has been filed and that's it. Unless they get multiple complaints they take it as someone just being to precausious. And they really only look at cases where neglect or abuse is obvious...when they ask her for evidence and she says she hears crying all night they will laugh at her cause almost every child that age cries at least once during almost every night. Sounds like she is just an asshole. Oh, about the DHS stuff...the only reason I know how they operate is I am an early childhood developement major and planning on opening a daycare one day so I have to study all of those regulations and things....Even if they did look into it...They would do a home visit...where they would ask you typical questions like what do you feed the child...where does it sleep...do you have it in childcare...and look around the place and as soon as they started asking q's they'd realize that lady is full of crap and tell you to have a great day.

thanks a lot for all the help. yeah our neighbor sucks. i have another post somewhere on gen. off topic about her and what has happened. i think our neighbor is just venting because our property manager is kicking her out. there were 3 other tennents that left because of her. but yeah everyone says that she dosnt have a leg to stand on. and if cps did come over our baby is well taken care of and the house is always kept up. and also my manager at work said that if they do come out and everything checks out which it will, we could take her to court for deflimation of character and harrasment. but im not gonna worry about that were moving in a couple of weeks anyway found a bigger place for the same rent.
