Finally the track is gonna be open!

It has been forever since I have been to the dragstrip. As some may know Bristol Dragway had to redo the launch pad so no races had been going on. On July 17 however....they are going to open up the street fights again (at least it says so on their internet site). I can't wait to go out there and test my car when it's at its peak instead of like it was last time. I may even try a stupid idea I have to see if I can make an electric leaf blower motor turn the compressor of a turbo enough to produce a little boost...just need an fmu and my junk leaf blower that I don't use anymore

I know it's probably gonna flop on its face but who cares...its just for fun and won't cost me anything.

No...sadly I had to work. I heard they had like three hundred cars sign up for the preliminary for that show though. How was it? I didn't get to go to street fights last Tuesday either. My car decided to blow the little gasket thingy that is on the oil filler cap and it is spitting oil out like crazy when I go down the road. The dealer said it would be middle of next week before they get it in...so, I rigged it with an oring and it works but I would be afraid to race it or drive more than to work.

the races were ok. Nothing too mind blowing but ppl from all over the u.s and some even from japan were there. They also had a full race Tiberon which was cool. Alos ALOT of big companys were there including AEM, Injen, Full Race, and Bosh
