those focuses do have pretty good potential. especially if you swap in the v8 ive seen a couple of those there bad. one of my friends has one with the cobra engine, he has a couple of bolt ons i/h/e and that thing flies. and that thing at a cold idle is pretty loud his neighbors complained about the noise a couple of times. lol

The 2.3 motor in the focus can make great power...and alot of the performance parts Ford uses in the rally cars and other focuses that use a 2.3 liter race setup can be bought and bolted on...I say it's a great car for performance mods.

mine has the 2.0 which is 130 horsepower, but i ain't gonna mess with the engine becuase i got a great drivetrain warranty. I wasn't even going to buy a new car. but it was sitting in town i liked it and it has low miles. my mom went to get a part for our expedition and i seen it sitting there and i liked it so i had them run some numbers. and i liked the numbers so i bought it. And gse turbo the camber it wasn't for nothing my i will but it eventually for my mom. becuae i gave the car to her. she wanted it. And also gse turbo you have these other daewoo owners in here that will need the kit so you could actually probably make some money. the wanted loike 9500 for it and its a 5 speed 2 door hatchback. the bluebook was supposedly over 12000 one it and its a 05 with barely over 12000 miles on it

I wouldn't mind having Focus... seeing as they are known to be ultra-reliable (i say that, altho one of my friends snapped the drive-shaft in his) and easily modify-able (?). but the only problem is that they are too common.
where as with my woo... well only one other person that i know has one.

the only problem isn't that they are too common, the only problem is that it's still a ford!

My 93 escort wagon has 210 k and counting. It was my first car, and I dint really took care of it. I was so sure that it was just going to die....but its still going. On top of that, its not uncommon for escorts to get 30-35 mpg, while my leganza gets a pitiful 22-25, and I dont have to be afraid of the timing belt snaping and destroying the motor. Who cares if its a ford, a honda, a daewoo or whatever. A good car's a good car.
