HELP PLEASE WITH MY NUBIRA

Post by ELWOODY_ »

I have a Nubira Wagon 1998. I was one of the first buyers that bought a Daewoo in Puerto Rico when Daewoo Motor company starts to distribute in 1998. My request is simple I want to know if somebody in the forum can explain to me a list of reasons (if its more than one) how is possible that motor oil is getting into the cooling system (radiator, surge tank and hose). The things that have been already replaced or repaired by a authorize dealer are: water pump, timing belt, belt tensioner, belt rollers, head gasket, cylinder head, radiator and hoses. Neither of this, fixed the problem and cost me more than a thousand dollars in parts and labor. I will appreciate that somebody do a research of this problem and let me know the parts that should be repaired or replaced. In the case that this is a recall by manufacturer problem let me know too.
Thanks...

Sounds like you have a warped head.

Also sounds like the dealer took you to the cleaners. Oil in the coolant is 99% always going to be a warped head and I think they knew that.

When they changed the head gasket they should of checked the head for flatness. If it was not flat then they should of had it machined.

the head can also be cracked internally and they wouldn't have seen it.
