Well... Anything you do to hinder your body's ability to fight off sickness isn't gonna help much.lanos2001 wrote:i don't have a hangover but i think it made my cold worse.

If you really want to get well quickly you would drink a bunch of Homestyle (not from concentrait) Orange juice and make some really good chicken stew. You'll be well in a day if you do that.
If you need a recipe/instructions for good chicken stew, let me know... mine is damn good.
well i've ben drinking nothing but oj (Doles) for the past three days and i'm sick of it. and i just ate hotwings does that count? i'm doin better now though since i did eat. i think its b/c i didn't really have anything yesterday before drinkin. and i told myself i wasn't gonna go out tommorrow but three fine ass chicks from work, that never go out, decided to go to the club so i had to show them a good time.

Hehe No... the hot-wings don't count. Good work on the OJ... I know how easy that is to get sick of too.
See... the real key in getting the best out of chicken stew is two fold. First, by slowly simmering the carrots, onions, and celery in the stock, it infuses it with tons and tons of healthy vitamins and minerals. Second and most importantly, the collagen and marrow from the chicken's connective tissue and bones turns to gelatin and dissolves into the the stock. That is about as close as you can get to a cure for the common cold as you can get.

see i've only had like four hangovers in my life. and what i've done each time was if i knew i was gonna have a hangover b/c i just mixed way too many types of drinks in one given night i would try to, key word TRY, to set the alarm clock like two hours before i actually had to get up so i can pop a few tylenols then go back to sleep. that way when you wake up you're good to go. also heard a warm beer when you wake up helps. but that just sounds nasty, warm beer, blah
