newbie need help

i have a 2002 lanos 5 sp 1.6 nd i def want to make it quick any suggestions on what to do first and the cheapest way to go i have a sick sound system and now i want to make it faster

please any help appreciated

you gotta make a little reading in the engine section and you will find some nice mods. also checkout the "How to" section.

Definately check out the how-to section, there are a lot of helpful things in there as mmamdouh said...

And of course read the engine section... and if you're feeling really daring, do a search and go through the topics that come up... I've yet to do anything to my car, but when i start, i'll be doing a lot of reading on this site, and the links everyone provides.

(edit): by "do anything" i mean performance wise, not trying to help the car become reliable again.
