hate to say it...

Post by Aneab »

I really hate to say it but with all the engine trouble that i've had with my Nubi I'm seriously considering trading it in for a Suzuki Reno in a few months after i get a job... I realize how cool my car COULD be... but i'm always pumping money into the engine and it's never gotten anywhere near where i can get average gas milage...  I might even opt to buy a manual nubi HB but for now i'm looking at the Reno... I like the style they have... I guess i'll decide in a couple months... Just wanting your opinions on this...

Renos rock! There is one here at the Suzuki dealer that has been tuned up a bit. I am surprised no one has bought it. I got some pics of it. Black and orange, with black 18s, dual exhaust, custom intake. If I had the money I'd buy it, especially if it was a 3dr.

I'll get some more pics up when I take my Palm out of my car. It has the pics on it. I don't know why it hasn't sold. I guess people are scared of its wickedness. I don't think they were asking much more $ than just a plain Reno.

Reno's are great.... my Optra 5 (which is the Canadian Reno ) is an awesome car.... with a few minor mods it's making decent power and is very fun to drive.

The only complaint I have is with the weak suspension.... I want to stiffen mine up a little..... the struts are pathetic... you can compress and uncompress them by hand!!!!

As soon as I find a replacement strut or coilover I'm going to buy it.

I haven't had a single problem with mine (but I only have 10K miles on it)

i talked to my parents, and they said that when i get a job (hopefully SOON) They would help me buy a better car...

I told them that basically I want either a Reno, or maybe to go to cali and pick up that Nubi Hatchback that's been for sale for $2300 for a while

(http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_i ... ardist=339)

Either way i'd be happier, because if i went to cali and picked up that car, i'd keep my current car as a parts car... as they're both green and hatcbacks... And if i traded it in and got a reno, i'd know i was having a fresh start on a new car...
