new chip on ebay seems promising

well i just saw this on ebay and it seems promising but it doesn't say where it hooks up to or anything like that. i'm gonna email them to see the specs. what do ya'll think?

Interesting....wonder if they have a dyno graph to prove it. Untill I see legitimate results, I dont believe it

exactly thats why i asked for all specs on it and where it hooks up to b/c it doesn't say at all. hopefully he replies back soon.

it does not get hooked up to anything... you just buy it and throw it in the glove box and it will work. it is a pure scam man!

I see all the wires, but i see usb 2.0 Connectors... I don't see anything on there and i know for a fact that the usb won't work on the Ecu, doesn't mention a laptop... I would ask for the wiring schematics pre buying. there's about 15 wires in the pics... it seems you need 2 for hte buttons, mini-usbs, but... 1) is that thing draw power off the Ecu, and 2 what are the USB connectors for? A laptop? Oi.

Just because they are USB cables does not mean they are USB type data. The makers may have decided to use USB jacks/plugs because they are easy to get and easy to work with.
I know I have stolen USB jacks and plugs for other projects before simply because they were able to do what I needed them to do.

As for it's claims for an extra 20hp ... I highly doubt it can enable to engine to produce an additional 20%.

They need to be able to provide dyno results prior to purchase. An emailed image, or even an image of the dyno results right on the auction would make the auction look more credible.

The reason they don't have dyno sheets is because it's bs. They know that most people (99.9%) won't get their car dyno'ed after installing this item, that's why they're making false claims.

heres their reply.

it connects to your iat sensor, and it works by adjusting the reading of the iat to read more cold air in the intake, yes it works for all the daewoo models.

i asked for specs and this is all they gave me. definantly a scam. how the hell does like 15 wires hook up to AIT? oh well i was just curious anyways.

it is how they make the thing look sophisticated... basicly it is a choco chip so all the extra crap is just for making it look worthy of the 20 HP clame.
