Fancy wagon wheels. I would be forced to sing the theme song to rawhide anytime I saw a car with a set on. :P

Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Rawhide!

Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Though the streams are swollen
Keep them dogies rollin'
Rawhide!
Rain and wind and weather
Hell-bent for leather
Wishin' my gal was by my side.
All the things I'm missin',
Good vittles, love, and kissin',
Are waiting at the end of my ride

CHORUS
Move 'em on, head 'em up
Head 'em up, move 'em on
Move 'em on, head 'em up
Rawhide
Count 'em out, ride 'em in,
Ride 'em in, count 'em out,
Count 'em out, ride 'em in
Rawhide!

Keep movin', movin', movin'
Though they're disapprovin'
Keep them dogies movin'
Rawhide!
Don't try to understand 'em
Just rope, throw, and brand 'em
Soon we'll be living high and wide.
My hearts calculatin'
My true love will be waitin',
Be waitin' at the end of my ride.

Rawhide!
Rawhide!

LOL

Yeah, that song *does* come to mind...

Anyway, I saw these in Popular Science magazine months ago.
They said the problem with them is that only Michelin is selling them and will not license the design to anyone else. This keeps the prices up.
The other problem is you can not just change the rubber part when the tread wears away; you have to change the whole wheel.

Who knows ... they may catch on.

moin,

b??h, you will never see it on my car. i think the tire is very loud and you can use only small rims. but on the right way against flat tires.

Ugly.. they wouldnt work very wheel for turning either. Doesnt look like they'd last long either so youd have to buy new ones quit often
