Why posting a GIF image is not allowed??

Why posting a GIF image into the forum's album is not allowed??

i have now a How to on replacing timing belts and it is loaded with GIF illustrative pics... now i can't upload them into the album because GIF's are not allowed

any help guys??

How big is the file size or is it more than one?

Sorry mmamdouh,

Malicious Codes can be executed via GIF images, virus and other stuff can be inside a GIF code, it can be done with JPEGs but is not that common.

Save the image was a JPG and you're done.

they are not that big but they are too many... they are 18 GIF's.

OK man... i will try to covert them to JPG and give it a try tomorrow or so.
