yeah it is a bad ass car, he just got a bunch of money like yesterday and he's buying everything for it, just bought a carbon fiber lip, gonna buy new deep dish black chrome wheels, carbon fiber pieces for his interior and red racing seats (car is red)...that prolly wont be the last either, think we'll try to the lambo doors again..who knows...lol next project...350z!!
Is there any way you can figure out what your car tops out at without doing it? Im mostly woudering what the transmission will allow me to do? Anyone know an equation or something?
I know 1st gear goes up to 38-39mph, 2nd gear is about 60 and 4th gear is around 112ish

And then 5th gear till you hit the rev limiter lol
Again theoretically yes...you will keep on going in the rpm till you hit the rev limiter in fifth... thats if your engine got enough power to keep on going to that point.
ive been 117 in my 99 lanos!! what is top speed?? or "top speed"
top speed is just the highest limit a car can go in mph/kph.
nick
i meant the top speed on paper works out to 125 i think but real top speed having ~110 ft lb i could only get it to 117 downhill
I hit 125 twice in my Lanos when it was newer... however I haven't been able to top 110 since having the crank and cam position sensors replaced at the dealership. I think they did something to it.
152 MPH in my 70 Chevelle I had, and 147 in my 85 Supra. The Chevelle was scary it wanted to float around, the Supra that was fun! Damn I miss my Supra
