Hi guys,
I know I don't belong here anymore

but I like to check back every other day.
Bit of advice for anyone thinking of ever owning an E36 BMW... DON'T DO IT!
To remove the exhaust, I had to remove the bottom strut brace.
To fit a turbo, I had to remove the exhaust manifold.
To remove the exhaust manifold, I had to remove the steering rack connector.
To remove the steering rack connector, I had to loosen and move the steering rack.
To connect the oil feed and fuel lines, I had to dismantle and remove the top half of the inlet manifold.
To remove the variable length inlet valve, I had to remove the battery, battery tray AND loosen and move the ABS unit.
I also managed to cut a coolant pipe (which contained still-hot liquid) because some reference appointed said pipe as a breather hose.
And I've blown a fuel line, because someone sold me carburettor-spec pipe and claimed it to be suitable for EFI!
And there's a slight oil leak, but I think this is down to me drilling a wonky hole.
I wish I still had my Lanos

Cargo cultism is a beautiful thing as long as you never fall for it.
