Previous Owner

Is there any way to find out who the previous owner was if you bought a car used?? I bought my Leganza used and it didn't come with an owners manual or a remote keyless entry system... all I got was a spare key..

if you go to auto zone they can get you a new remote, other than that try something like car fax or something... i dont know, never had to track anyone down
